Lola T70 MkIII B, chassis SL76/141, began its career under Norinder’s Sportscar Unlimited Racing Team in 1969, piloted by Ulf Norinder and Jo Bonnier. SL76/41 was shipped in pieces to race the Daytona 24h, where it was assembled trackside but retired early due to accident damage. Repainted in striking Valvoline Red, White, and Blue, it next took on the Sebring 12h, only to be sidelined by a suspension failure.

After racing at Brands Hatch, Monza, and in Argentina, SL76/141’s journey continued in film. In 1970, disguised as a Porsche 917, it performed a crash scene for Steve McQueen’s Le Mans. Rediscovered in 1983, it saw multiple restorations for historic American and UK events, finally returning to its original livery in 2007.
